Do you remember?

BIG RUBBER STAMP SALE NOW ON!
 MANY HALF PRICE

Did you have fruit cocktail and evaporated milk on Saturdays?  Did you fight for cherries?  My auntie use to slice up cucumber and onion and soak it in vinegar as part of Christmas Day tea.  Anyone else have this?

The same auntie use to give us "sugar butties". Now I cannot imagine anything more revolting but that was a long time ago.  She also made the best rice pudding ever.  I always wanted the skin....

Two Christmas cards from LYNDA who is relatively new to crafting, so well done!

Here's Pam card:

And one from Dot:

I don't usually sit long enough to watch a film but this Christmas was an exception.  Bedknobs & Broomsticks - groan!  Mary Poppins - had to turn this off as I'd forgotten just how nauseating it was.  GREASE - don't you just love Travolta in this Ramalama Ding Dong Bop Shoo Waddy Waddy....I bet you know all the words.

Absolute favourites though were Pride & Prejudice even though Colin Firth was not Mr Darcy...Sound of Music - when Christopher Plummer gazes romantically at good old Jules in the conservatory.  Miss Potter - the tale of Beatrix starring whoever played Bridget Jones and the gorgeous Ewan McGregor.

Here's BARBARA's card using a Crafty Individuals image.

And this one is from DENISE!

CAROL :)
