My Own Art Journal

I don't wish to shock but I have completed some journal pages.  I cannot believe it myself!!!  I had a long chat with someone about journalling and she said she had never really got to grips with it.  She tried to make her pages look pretty or random like everyone elses.  They were in fact just bigger cards.

We discussed journalling and what it meant to us.  I see it as a very personal exploration of myself - thoughts, feelings etc.  I suppose that comes from all the stuff I've done in the past.  Well that got me going and since then I have really enjoyed spending time slapping on the layers.  It's not very often I get that "me time".

Nigel very kindly pointed out that this page was upside down.  I suppose its because half the time I don't know whether I am on my head or my ****!!!

FLY ME TO THE MOON was a double page spread until I wrote some words.  I wasn't happy with it at all.  Still I resisted the urge to rip it out - so I folded it back on itself.  Note to self - Write in pencil first!!

Hope you have enjoyed my journal pages ..they are A4 in size....CAROL :)
