Flower Book & Canvas

As promised I am back today to give you a taster of the marvellous projects submitted by Lisa and Wendy

Lisa worked on a canvas and every single bit of space was taken up by detail and colour.  As Lisa enjoys her sewing and stitching there was lots of fabric and stitching - mixed in with the stamping and colouring.  You can see the complete canvas in the shop but I shall just show you snippets of the detail, which I think you will agree are stunning!

How fabulous is the Stampotique house, which has been stamped onto a piece of calico, coloured and stitching added.

Wendy surpassed herself with this gorgeous "flower book" - it was all tied up with ribbon and then inside the petals of the flowers unfold to reveal all of Wendy's wonderful stamping and embellishing.

Look at the detail - Wendy has even made a flower entirely from small buttons.  This is a piece that is not easy to photograph due to its many layers so please pop along to my shop, where you can have a good look.  Wendy has kindly said that she can provide the template for this should any of you wish to have a go!

Hope you have enjoyed the first close up of the Secret Garden projects .... I really do love it when people get involved and we can share our work, whatever form that takes.  See you tomorrow with Barbara's journal and snippets of Janet's masterpiece (as it was too large to photograph in total).  CAROL :)
