More Inspiration...

from SUZANNE BROOKFIELD using the Stampendous Post Bird stamp.  Suzanne has endeavoured to use products that are available from in store at the Cubby Hole.

Card No 1 is A5 in size and using the gorgeous bird with crown along with the gorgeous Mariposa 12x12 papers, Creatable LR0183 from Marianne Design, EK Success border punch and distress inks.  Don't you just love the paper folding to make the frame:-

An 8x8 kraft coloured card as a base.  Created using Tim Holtz Lost & Found papers along with Woodware foliage punch, Creatables by Marianne Design LR0143 (corners) and the gorgeous English Rose die LR0162.  The background has also been inked using a Crafters Workshop stencil....

The 3rd card has an inky background (Peeled Paint distress ink edged with Walnut Stain) which has been stamped, embossed and edged with a white gel pen.  Lace and charms (available in store also) have been added.

I am also running more "Come & Create" Saturdays; card making - mini "make and takes" with prices starting at 75 pence per item.  Dates will be on the website - though I can tell you there is a play day and come and create this Saturday 5th November!

We have got a bit behind with our monthly challenges for one reason and another so have got quite a bit to show you over the next few weeks.

As we are fast approaching the "silly season" - hate to remind you!!!!  There will be just one more challenge in 2011.  It's your interpretation of "A Christmas Carol"xx
