"Lisa" - Rubber Romance by Christine Costello

Hello I have had the pleasure of working with one of the new Rubber Romance Stamps called "Lisa" - here is what I have done with it.  I hope you enjoy my creations:-

Tri-Card
The background has been created using a shell stamp from my own stash, embossed in white and then sprayed with turquoise and blue glimmer mists.  When dry I used the resist technique and stamped the background with a Tim Holtz swirly stamp.  The large Mermaid was stamped, coloured, cut out, as were the smaller Mermaids, these had been scanned first and then re-sized before printing.

Marianne Creatable Dies were used to hopefully represent underwater flora and fauna.  Faux stitching completed the piece.

Parchment Card
Lisa was stamped with white Stazon onto parchment, coloured with felt tips and then lightly embossed.  The shell design was stamped again with white Stazon, coloured and embossed with the centre pricked out.  A scallop design was pricked out round the edge of the card.  A co-ordinating ribbon was added to finish.

Turquoise Card
The Mermaid image was stamped with Versafine black ink, coloured using felt tips.  I wanted to add a little shimmer so using a mask I sprayed irridiscent mist over the Mermaid's body and hard.  a few pearls were added to her hair.  I coverd the bubbles with Glossy Acents.  The flowers and foliage are all from Marianne Creatables Dies.  Papers used are from my own stash and I have had them so long I have no idea where they came from.

Thank you for looking.  These examples are in the Cubby Hole and Carol would love to show them to you along with the range of Rubber Romance stamps.  Christine Costello  xx
