"Three Smiles"

Suzanne Brookfield has made the following three creations from the "Three Smiles" Hero Arts wooden mounted.

1. Card - Suzanne has scored a piece of A4 card to give a base.  She has cut 4 equal rectangles from coordinating textured cardstock.  Two have been passed through the Cuttlebug and then sanded slightly, the other two have been sequin wasted (a fave technique of Suzanne) and the edges stamped with Inkadinkadoo swirl stamps.  Ribbon was added before Suzanne adhered the focal stamped image onto her card.  The focal image has been stamped onto very thick card/board before being triple embossed to make it look like an enamel tile.

2.  Box - Suzanne credits Wendy for the template for her box.  The box itself has been cut from a piece of 12x12 Bazill emossed card and scored to make the foldaway box.  The lid has been made from another piece of co-ordinating card (always remember to add a few millimetres each side when measuring for the lid).  The mounts on the box both inside and outside have been inked with Distress Inks, Worn Lipstick and Faded Jeans.  Stamps have been inked using Memories Black.  Only part of the Hero Arts stamp have been used - Suzanne masked the images with post-it notes.  The flowers were punched from the left over Bazill card.

3.  Trio of ATCs   Suz has cut her ATCs from cardboard - using the only cardinal rule when it comes to ATCs: that they must measure 3.5" x 2.5".  Other than that you have free rein when it comes to making ATCs....it may be fun to have an ATC swap in the shop?

Just to let you all know that on Friday 8th April in the afternoon we shall be having a unveiling of all the Secret Garden projects.  It would be lovely to see you and I can promise you will love all the projects - very eclectic, I cannot wait to show them all!   CAROL :)
